Funding News 

• Apex Foundation of Herndon awards $10,000 general support grant for 2010: For more about the Apex Foundation, click here.

 

• Department of Justice awards Second Chance Act Grant to OAR: A two-year grant totaling $300,000 has been awarded to OAR of Fairfax County under the Second Chance Act for mentoring and transitional services. This was a national competition and only 36 organizations of the 507 applicants were awarded funding. OAR of Fairfax County was one of two non-profits in Virginia to be selected.
