Many volunteer opportunities exist to help OAR further its mission to rebuild lives and break the cycle of crime to create a safer community. OAR volunteers provide vital services and program support to ex-offenders and their families.
What Volunteer Opportunities are Available?
- Attend a Volunteer Information Session: Sessions are held at the OAR office on the 1st Wednesday of each month. To attend, contact Lyla.
Is Training Provided?
Yes. Once selected for a specific volunteer opportunity, volunteers receive program orientation, on-the-job training and continued coaching as they volunteer. In addition, volunteers are provided with Continuing Education opportunities throughout the year.
Would you like to help but are unable to commit to a specific time frame. There are still ways to get involved. Consider putting together hygiene kits or snack packs for clients in need. They only cost a few dollars each. Click here for more information.
