To support OAR financially
OAR offers a variety of programs in both the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center (ADC) and Alternative Incarceration Branch (AIB), as well as the Loudoun County Work Release Center (WRC). In any given week, OAR has between 25-30 scheduled classes and support groups that focus on developing vocational, life and coping skills. These programs include:
For the prison population, in which 60% of all inmates have literacy and math skills at or below the 8th grade level, skills-based classes are essential to properly prepare offenders for release.
