Donation Corner

There are many ways that you can get involved and help OAR. OAR welcomes financial donations to support our client services. Please remember us in your will, send checks, donate through United Way or donate an item on OAR's Wish List found at the bottom of this page. Contributions go directly to programs that benefit our clients.

Wish List

OAR also accepts in kind donations to support our clients. If you would like to donate an item on our wish list, please come by the OAR office between the hours of 9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m., Mon.-Fri. except holidays.

  • New or gently used in-season clothing items for adult men and women

    • Men’s sizes – Shirts: Large to 3Xlarge. Pants: waist size 32 to 44
    • Women’s sizes – Shirts: Large to 3Xlarge. Pants: Sizes 8 to 18
    • Please be sure that clothing items have a size label
  • Coats for men and women (larger sizes preferred)
  • New socks and underwear for men and women
  • New and gently used shoes
  • New and gently used belts and shoe laces
  • New and gently used book bags/totes/duffle bags
  • Umbrellas and ponchos
  • Cold weather hats, gloves, and scarves
  • Unopened/new hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.)
  • Metro fare cards, bus tokens, and/or SmarTrip cards
  • Old Cell phones (to benefit victims of domestic violence)
  • Gift certificates from local stores or carry outs (i.e. Giant, Safeway, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, McDonalds, Subway, 7/11, etc.)
  • Gas cards
