Taxpayers were saved over $700,000 in deferred incarceration costs through Alternative Sentencing programs in FY 2010
To support OAR financially
A support group for family members and significant others of any individual who is incarcerated, on probation, or parole.
Purpose: We believe that incarceration of someone affects not only the individual involved with the criminal justice system, but also the families and loved ones of that person. Families have multiple struggles of their own when faced with life without the individual. OAR provides a place for families and friends to come for support, advice, and a listening ear. The group is facilitated by OAR’s family counselors.
